Introducing Potato – the most charming and dashing cat without ears you’ll ever lay eyes on. Prior to being taken in by a local shelter, this suave feline roamed the busy streets of China as a stray. It was two years ago when animal rescuers discovered poor Potato, sick and abandoned, suffering from ceruminous adenoma in his ears. The dedicated veterinarians successfully treated him, only to witness the condition return. In order to prevent any future recurrences, the vet recommended the removal of his ear canals and flaps.
Fortunately, Potato is now on the mend and has found his perfect forever home, complete with a newfound companion named Horlick. His loving owners took to Instagram to share their joy, revealing that Potato can still hear. “Potato was a stray, making it impossible to determine his age or birthdate,” his owners explained on their Instagram page. However, they estimate that this handsome boy is approximately six years old. To commemorate the day they adopted him, they now celebrate April 25th as Potato’s birthday.
