Over the weekend, an adorable puppy was brought to Stray Rescue of St. Louis. This furry friend’s tale could have ended in misfortune, but luckily a kind-hearted person stepped in and rescued her. Despite suffering from a broken leg, Bridget the pup is determined to pull through.
The rescue organization reported that a puppy was discovered in a concerned citizen’s front yard, and the person was unsure of how to assist the tiny dog. The citizen received assistance from a neighbor who suggested they dispose of the puppy in a trash can. The finder was appalled by the neighbor’s suggestion and decided to bring the animal to Stray Rescue of St. Louis, hoping they could offer help. On Saturday evening, one of the volunteers stepped up to take care of the puppy and gave her a name- Bridget von Hammersmark. Jordan, the volunteer, stayed up all night with the pup, feeding and cuddling her, ensuring she survived.
Bridget is all set to go back home with her foster family tonight. She is an absolute sweetheart.
